FBC Rebrand
Branding and Production
The Foundation for Blind Children (FBC) has served individuals from birth to 99 for over 75 years, offering life-changing programs and services. Despite its impactful work, FBC’s previous branding lacked consistency and clear guidance, limiting its ability to fully convey its mission.
The rebrand focused on creating a unified identity that highlights FBC’s commitment to empowering people of all ages while honoring its rich history. Every element was designed with intention, reflecting the diverse programs and services FBC provides to the community in Arizona. The new brand is bold, memorable, and community-focused, symbolizing progress, inclusion, and the boundless potential of those it serves.
Video Strategy
To strengthen brand recognition and create a lasting visual identity, I designed a custom video intro for the Foundation for Blind Children. The animation features "FBC" spelled in Braille, symbolizing accessibility and inclusion. The Braille letters dynamically expand across the screen, transforming into the full wordmark logo.
This intro places FBC’s brand at the forefront of every video, reinforcing its mission while highlighting the importance of Braille as a symbol of communication, independence, and connection within the blind and visually impaired community.
In-house Marketing
The screens serve as an accessible platform to share important updates, upcoming events, and program highlights. By integrating recognizable brand visuals and clear messaging, the displays create a unified experience that keeps staff, students, and visitors informed while reinforcing FBC’s essence.
FBC Print Design Strategy
I developed a print design system for the Foundation for Blind Children that incorporates program-specific colors for easy identification. Each printed material aligns with FBC’s visual identity while considering the diverse needs of its audience.
Every print piece is paired with an interactive accessible PDF available on the website, ensuring that all collateral is inclusive and usable by everyone, regardless of ability.
